I've tried a couple of different gyms; I'm currently at LA Fitness. I've never experienced any discrimination or witnessed any to obvious gays while they were working out. There's one LA Fitness in town known as the "gay LA" due to the amount of gays who work out there

so I avoid that one at all cost

I'm anti-social af in the gym. I don't talk to anyone and I always have my headphones in so I have never heard or seen any homophobia. Even though I always stare at the other hot str8 guys during my rest sets.

nah i've never seen or experienced homophobia and i've been a member of 2 different gyms. but then again i ONLY go to the gym at like 1 or 2am, i'm paranoid that if i go at a busy time the hotter guys will stare and judge me. usually when i go there's 1 or 2 other people there max, sometimes i'm the only one.

From my own experience, most people are too busy with their fitness to pay any attention. Never witnessed or experienced any discrimination but I try not to draw attention or confrontation on myself.

I'm a gay guy and I don't pay attention to guys at my gym unless I already know them tbqh. One guy said hi to me at my gym and I think I was kind of mean to him by accident. I was in the middle of my workout and was focused and he wanted to chat because I held the door open for him at the starbucks a few hours earlier. I was like WTF?! I like my workout ending to come as close to the beginning as reasonably possible.

I have to be very careful because I have one of those faces where you can see what I'm thinking....even if I don't say it.

Why do people worry about other people at their gyms?

I never understood it, like I just go to the gym, get my workout in and go home lol.

Ummm that guy in the pic is throwing down the weight like he's doing something but I think there is only about ~150lbs worth of weight on there... maybe not even that much.
