We will never get to see what new things will be introduced. Movies, games, tech, music, science etc. (after we all die)

I'm thankful I was alive during the same period as Beyoncé and Michael Jackson. I'm thankful for being alive during the period of exponential technological advancement. I'm thankful for being alive to see a millennium. I'm thankful for being alive during a period in which civil rights have been greatly advanced, such as gay marriage, etc. I'm just very thankful.

I don't see what's depressing about getting older unless you're shallow? I'm looking forward to the future, not only will I gain more wisdom, I'll also be more versed as a human being, and I think with age comes greater confidence and balance. I want to be that wise, fun grandfather to my grandchildren which I never had.
