The odd thing was that it wasn't originally covered for 9/11, but it was for AIDS in Africa, but since the lyrics were so relevant for those tragic times, it was deemed as the 9/11 tribute.
The "rap breakdown" was completely unnecessary and demolished the presentation.
This song probably would've, at least, been decent without it.
The auto-tune just serves as an indiscreet message that the majority of these artists wanted to use this as a stepping stone in their sub-par musical careers.
The media will over-***** this until it reaches #1. A+ for ruining a perennial masterpiece.
Well they kinda sound almost identical to each other and she's his sister. It was really sweet imo.
I agree they sound exactly the same so you can't hear her at all She looks so disinterested. But she looks really beautiful.
I hated it though. SO cheesy. Ugh. Celine and Pink were nice, everyone else ranged from unremarkable to bad. And Wyclef Jean's "singing" made my ears bleed. It's really funny to see the facial expressions and hand movements these people make in the studio.
The Kanye West rap at the end was the only decent one his words at the end were actually very inspirational. Justin Bieber starting it off was a bad way to start it. Excluding T-Pain and Akon everybody else was great
