No one has said that Zelda hasn't sold much in the last 20 years, but per game they don't sell extraordinary.
This will do 3 - 5 million if it debuts with NX max. Which isn't "amazing". It's sales will be passable. Not a flop, not enough to be considered amazing.
And considering Sony don't beat a dead horse, it's not surprising. Sony has had some terrific sellers over the years, but still try something new. Considering Splatoon was Nintendo's big new IP speaks volumes about where they are heading.
Mario 3D World is a perfect example of Nintendo needing to take a hiatus and actually come up with something good.
It's nothing extraordinary and isn't peaking interest, as are most of Nintendos games.
