Problem is the girls don't have any of 4minute's IP (you know, the much beloved songs) as that all belongs to iHCube.
Still kinda shocking that iHCube would just throw away 8 years of Cube's work. Especially since 4minute despite their years in service still seemed like just a concept or song away from smashing -- which is more than can be said for something like CLC, which is like a winning lottery ticket away from winning the lottery.
I guess trotting out Hyuna 3 times a year would be more profitable, but that's assuming the returns don't keep diminishing after a sub-par "Roll Deep" turn.

A significant deficiency in the Mamamoo plan for kpop domination is their lack of male fans. And they just happen to hook up on a show with a girl group that has attracted more male fans than pretty much any girl group to debut in years? Mamamoo stays winning, somehow.
