BoyleSports bookies have reopened etting for Turner, shortening his odds to just 1/5, as the betting website’s spokesman Liam Glynn gave an update on the situation.
He said: “After suspending the betting on Tuesday due to a massive surge of support for Aidan Turner to become the Next James Bond at 2/5, we have opened back up the market on the Next James Bond this morning."
He added: "But cut Turner into the red hot 1/5 favourite to be drinking his Martini’s ‘Shaken Not Stirred’. There is no smoke without a fire and it certainly looks like Turner has been in negotiations with the Bond producers.
