News: Canada makes national anthem gender neutral

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has made gender inclusivity a focus since he was elected last October and named an equal number of men and women to his 30-member Cabinet. It was the first time gender parity had been achieved by Canada's team of ministers.

Wow, an area where the US was already more progressive in for once!

Our National Anthem (well, the only part people actually use) has always been gender neutral. The last stanza isn't gender neutral, but the last three no one knows anyway, and the last one is problematic in other ways, such as religion. We could just strike off the last one (or three) and no one would even notice.
