I really need HMs to get an overhaul for the next era.

At least make Cut halfway useful in battle pls or smth..

HM's just need to dissapear or atleast give us key items that make certain mon be able to just do it without having to sacrifice a move slot or having an HM Slave. Soaring was a step in the right direction for that. Especially a move like Cut seems to be useless these days, since it doesn't really blocks much beside some random TM or a Hyper Potion. Unless they block a road with it, like gen I had for example. They could easily reduce the HMs, or atleast give us the option to delete them. That is the only difference it has in comparison to TM's like Secret Power etc. anyways.

Ok so it's just a recap, but we may get trailers for Iwanko/Nekkoala on the YT channel since they were officially revealed to Japan yesterday.

Yeah they need to REMOVE HMs, or at the very least increase some of their attack powers. It was a MESS in gen 4. Replaying Soul Silver and I had to have 1 poek for flash, 1 for strength/rock smash/cut/whirlpoo and 1 for surf.

Don't forget Rock Climb, Fly and Waterfall.

Theta Emerald. It's basically emerald, but it includes all pokemon up to Gen6 and therefore also fairy. Furthermore, the trainers and arenas are more difficult and apparently the story is going to change a bit. It's really great tbh.

True and overall it feels a bit stupid, when even a simple ember by a Charmander could burn down a whole forest, while it can't remove a tree blocking the road.

Yeah HMs need to go and it's nothing to do with the difficulty level as some people claim

I'm about to replay SoulSilver and I'm already scared of the HMs. I managed all of Black 2 with just surf and a spare Pokemon using strength. I didn't even use fly at all.

They don't need to take out the concept of HMs coz but they need to be modified a bit. Remove the actual 'HMs' themselves, but make more moves have the same capabilities:

Cut -moves with Cut, Slash or Claw in the name
Fly - moves with Fly, Wing or Sky in the name
Surf - moves with Surf, Water or Hydro in the name
Strength - moves with Strength, Mega or Slam in the name
Waterfall - moves with Water or Aqua in the name

And then make the HM effect only usable when you have the badge. Or they could simplify it and like many RPGs, just give all Pokemon "field abilities" which states which ones have the capability to do it, and could be done without being taught a move; but only after getting the badge.

I definitely think we'll get the reveals of Iwanko and Nekkoala publicly since Corocoro was officially released yesterday. But, I don't expect anything else. So as of right now, the next times we'll get news are:

June 25 / 26 - World Hobby Fair. Masuda will be demonstrating a playthrough of the game again. (It may very well be the same area but random encounters could mean we'll see what else is on Route 1 and their positions in the dex)
July 7 - Japan Expo. The same place Honedge was revealed during XY's pre-release period.
July 8-15 - Corocoro reveals (usually between the 10th and 12th)

I also expect another montly vid within the first 10 days of July.
