my trinity consists of X-Communicate, White Street and Show Me! the singles all sound great in the context of the album and the first half is pretty solid too, though the 2nd half is mildly inconsistent
I haven't stanned for a debut this hard since Florence + the Machine way back when. I hope she gets more traction, her songwriting is fantastic and the production
DD, well Kristin, never disappoints. I can definitely hear shades from the last DDG album, which is good, since it was perfection and a new direction for her. Love that she went full pop. Can't wait to get the vinyl and cassette in the mail
Trinity after almost a week of listening is X-Communicate, Skin Shed, and Going Thru the Motions. I think this is honestly the best work she's ever done.
Skin Shed was annoying at first, but I like it now White Street, Smoke Rings and the title track are still the holy trinity, but Going Thru the Motion is pretty close
