Gaga flew to Orlando and no one spoke out. Janet has spoken on many hate issues including even trans issues before it was popular to talk about it! She is also a glaad recipitent. Janet is far from an opportunist. This is her song, so this is her using her voice to speak out on not only the issues but even throwing in her stance on gun reform.
Hashtagging #prayers is only going to do so much, she is saying gun reform needs to be done! And showing Obama already talked on it.
I like Janet! and this video is more touching now that I'm less cynical.
