I don't think I like any of the new girl groups except for Red Velvet and Oh My Girl, Korea can keep the rest

In terms of success RV, TWICE and YGNGG will be the trinity I think.

RV will be a more successful version of f(x). As long as SM gets their summer comeback right they will be top tier. TWICE is obviously heading for top tier also and nation status at this point. YGNGG will be successful because it's YG, but idk how they will perform. Jennie and Lisa already seem to have a fanbase.

GFriend and OMG are already popular but idk whether they will really hit the top level since they seem unoriginal.

Only RV so far seems to have brought anything new/interesting to the table. YGNGG may be interesting hopefully.

RV lost a lot of momentum with The Velvet. We'll see about their status after their next comeback.

As of right now it's definitely Twice and GFRIEND leading the pack.

RV won't reach top tier. I agree that they'll be another fx tho just without as large of a fandom (I don't see any of them getting the individual hype and fandom Krystal has tbh). Shame because I prefer them to the rest of the rookies.

GFRIEND and TWICE are leading at the moment. But who knows what could happen. Girls come and go.

I actually really wonder who of the current nugus will pull a GsD/AOA/EXID and become semi-top tier in a few years.

They already have two members with a decent sized fanbase and public recognition so I wouldn't be surprised if they'd be on the level of Lovelyz after their debut or first comeback. It's hard to say though because GsD and AOA got popular because they jumped on the sexy concept bandwagon and EXID because of probably the most random thing ever

I'm sad that none of the new girl groups do the sexy concept, I miss this since this concept always brings bops
