Most of the time, although Northern Chinese people and Korean people look really alike. If you spend a significant amount of time in your life looking at people from different countries, you'll realize a pattern in their facial structures.

Merely based on facial structures, no.

But sometimes it's pretty distinguishable by the stylin'.

It's different because borders of Africa were arbitrarily drawn with no regard to ethnic groups. European nations have been in contact and their borders/kingdoms have changed over millennia. But the Chinese, Koreans, and Japanese have almost always been isolated nations with little contact with each other and other cultures and ethnic groups. They have different ethnic groups with different origins from each other.

I can tell with some accuracy probably bc I grew up with all types of Asians. Though you can find Chinese people who look Korean and Japanese because it's so diverse ethnically.
