Just wondering if any members here personally knew anyone that was at the shooting or died that night, considering there is a pretty big community on here.

Reason I'm asking is because my brain is still having a hard time wrapping itself around the fact that 50 souls died that night because of some homophobic animal. My uncle is "crazy" and he has all these conspiracy theories saying how these shootings aren't actually happening, and they're set ups from the govt to push their agendas. Although I'm sure that's really unlikely, in my heart, it would feel better to believe that than to be aware that the Orlando shooting actually happened.

So all in all, jw if anyone knows anyone that was at Pulse that night?

Tell your uncle to watch any one of the countless on-the-scene videos. Look at the stories of the survivors. Look at their videos. Why would hundreds of people be lying and inventing a shooting?

no offense, but people like your uncle are disgusting. My hope is that he's the ill result of lead poisoning, and not seriously that vile as to question such a tragedy and throw dirt on corpses that were gunned down just two days ago.

Also one of my Madonna concert friends who has many friends in the area has a friend who was injured.

The conspiracy theorists who troll forums and harass victims for not "crying enough" and being hired by Obama as actors, are sick disgusting people who need to be ignored.

And also just wanted to add, that I do consider the fact that these might be govt mandated events--because who knows. But I DO believe people are actually getting killed, and the blood of innocent civilians is being spilled. These are def not "fake" events with actors and such

YES, this is exactly what he believes. Sandy Hook, San Bernardino, Orlando, etc- these are all "fake" to him

I truly don't understand what's wrong with these people. It's like having a black president has warped their brains and created an alternate reality for them. What terrifies me is that there are millions of them out there and they're almost all heavily armed.
