In the aftermath of the violent shootings that took place in Orlando over the past weekend (both Christina Grimmie and the Pulse Nightclub victims), some positivity and unity is in order on ATRL.


We have the power to create a safe and positive space free of judgment, free of violence, and free of ignorance. We have the power to make a difference in one anothers' lives despite most of us never having met in person. We have the power to rise above the intimidation and fear and to be united.

I love the diversity of artists you represent in your thread and that you have been an active member of the ATRL community despite joining just last year. You help add to our perspective in a number of ways, including by being a representative of Romania to all of us on ATRL from around the world.

Thank you! And thank you for keeping Christina Grimmie's memory alive. Her death hit me hard and the shooting at Pulse layered on the tragedy and sadness that much more. I had hoped after hearing of her death that would be the only major tragedy we heard about over the weekend.
