Did you just arrive in 2016 from 2009? How was your trip over? What’s time-travelling like?
You have a lot of catching up to do!
Wow! Since you’ve been gone, Beyoncé has done some huge things.
She filmed an entire visual album with a video for every song (+1 bonus, that's 17 videos!). It was filmed all over the world, and they all are different, luxurious, and beautiful.
To end the era she did film a really low-budget but impeccably well done video for a song called, 7/11. It got rave reviews. It side-stepped the expectations of what a Beyoncé video would be. I guess the last videos from her you saw was Broken Hearted Girl and Ego? She’s progressed way past that. She had an album called 4 that had great videos too.
And that brings us to today, a few months ago she dropped out of nowhere an hour-long album movie! I know, crazy right? All of it was gorgeous, it had an emotional story, special effects, so many scenes, extras, costumes, etc. Wow.
Well, welcome to 2016!
