Lillie is keeping AZ Floette in ha bag. I made a theory a while ago about how the Eternal Flower that Floette is holding is the Pokemon's version of the Philosopher's stone, since it appears in Pokemon the symbolism for this is flowers. The weapon AZ made looks like a flower, Maginas special attack has a reference to a flower and then the Eternal Flower. Lillie's name is also derived from obviously the Lilly meaning innocence , purity and beauty. Dis hoe been snatching AZ Floette and been keeping it to keep her young and probably has a bigger plan in store but I BET she's been alive for a long time and possibly from AZ's time.

The connection between X/Y and S/M is gonna be through her and explains why Zygarde will play a role in the game.

I'm assuming the manmade island is the one in the middle?

They did say Solgaleo and Lunala tie into the story in a unique ..something they haven't done with a pair of legendaries.
Also Zygarde('s forms) will appear in a special way

Maybe the peace one is Zygarde because of the ecosystem thing?

Did they ever mention a theme they're doing with this Gen? I heard them talking about like the land and nature and preserving it and something like that a few times.

Maybe it has to do with that and Zygarde being a legendary Pokemon that appears when the worlds echo system is threatened appears. The sun and moon are a huge part of sustaining life in our planet so maybe they connect with Zygarde?

The cry you hear when her bag moved do kinda sound like Floette's cry but slightly different (possibly due to it being in the bag and all...)

I was just thinking the guardians can't be Solgaleo/Lunala, because Solgaleo and Lunala both reside in the same place on the western island.

But Tapu Koko is the one of the first island, no? It makes sense that it's associated with Lono since it's about peace and stuff, it's inoffensive and that fits in the early game. Some underworld God would be kinda creepy right off the bat.
