Between Chinese and Japanese usually no. Koreans are kinda easy because of the way they dress and their facial surgeries.

Chill coz I didn't. I just wrote it that way because Mongolia is closer to China, and the picture shows 3 nations only.

I can easily distinguish Japanese, but not the others. I can easily tell their race by their names tho.

Sometimes, Japanese and Chinese are a bit more difficult to tell apart than Koreans and either of the others.

Yes I lived in China for 6 months, and I watch a lot of Japanese and Korean tv shows so I know right away where are they from by how they look.

In very good at it. Chinese people are less pale and have chubbier faces and fuzzy eyebrows. Japanese people's eyes tip downwards and are often more wide, they are the naturally the most palest of the group and have really jet black thin hair. I don't know how I'd describe a Korean but you'll know one when you see one. Vietnamese people are dark but have unique bone structure compared to the Chinese, like big nostrils and strong jaws.

And if you can't place an east Asian looking person in any of these categories, they are probably Nepalese.
