If you have a modem, you should try unplugging it and wait for around 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
Also, try other applications that don't require the internet. If they are loading slow as well, you could be tiptoeing on using too much storage/RAM - which happens a lot for me. That could cause system wide slowness as well.
Lastly, it could be your internet plan (MBPS)
Ex.
3mbps = 10 songs download in 3 minutes
45mbps = 10 songs download in 9 seconds.
