Yassss my first GoW since the first one

I'm feeling the kid is gonna take over or something.

There's a rumour that Kratos might become Odin, the God of War and Death, and his son might become Thor. When his son was using the bow, there was a lightning effect. So the rumoured storyline for the game, is Kratos and his son's journey to Valhalla and becoming the Norse God of War. I expect Kratos to encounter:

Frigg, Goddess of Marriage and Motherhood, Kratos' rumoured wife
Tyr, God of War
Sif, who is Thor's wife and Goddess of Fertility
Hela, Goddess of the Underworld
Loki, God of Fire and Trickery
Freyja, the Goddess of beauty and sexuality
Balder, God of Light, Joy and Purity
Hod, God of Winter and Darkness
Fenrir, huge wolf
Jörmungandr, the world serpent (fans say they've seen the snake in the trailer hidden)


The game devs have already said GOW 4 marks a new beginning, which obviously confirms using the Norse / Viking setting for at least 3 games. The second game could center around Valhalla and then the third game, would include Ragnarok, the final battle between good and evil, which marks the beginning of a new creation.

After Ragnarok, which I think will take place in GOW 6 (end of Norse trilogy), that it will pave the way for an Egyptian trilogy, which is what I am really excited about. The Game Devs already said GOW 4's setting was originally going to be Egyptian, until they realised it wasn't barren and desolate enough.

Judging by the gameplay and trailer, the game looks quite far along. Cory (Game Director) said the game isn't coming out in 2016, which is fine, since we have loads of good games coming out. But, when he was asked about 2017, he didn't comment, which makes me think, GOW Norse 1 (GOW 4) will come out in Q1 2017.

GoW with a coherent story? We are not worthy. Looked absolutely beautiful.

It looks like God of War mixed with The Last of Us. They were saying how Kratos was one-dimensional, and now he has a kid, which has changed him.

I'm really interested in the dynamic between their relationship. It will be nice for Kratos to have an ally with him that doesn't die, and it also makes for some interesting puzzles; see the Pandora puzzles in God of War 3.

My friend doesn't like the new changes, says it's too different. But my point is, that they hit a dead end and had to reinvent it (do a Madonna). I love that it's different, graphics looks ****ing awesome and I love this new direction.

This and Pokemon Sun/Moon are two of my must-buy/watch games.
