You are missing that most bad things in Muslim world doesnt make the news either. Because most Muslims dont see a problem at there, the just stay as secrets of families or society, and victims dont kno how or who to ask help or maybe they cant even realize that they are victims and blame themselves. I blamed myself for being gay for years and i couldnt even talk anyone about this. It is kinda weird that majority of Muslims are really nice and helpful to other "Muslims" but if you do something against religion or even something they assume like its against religion, they may become so cruel. Like there are even some Muslims that belive "if a muslim is not fasting on holy month Ramadan, it is ok to kill him" There is not anything like that in Islam and most Muslims (like 99.9%) dont beliece such thing but i know some people believes this and i am afraid, because i know if they somehow earn other Muslims respect, they will do whatever they want to. And it is really terrifying
