Do you trust film box office and sales of music albums and video games?

Have you ever thought: Film studios can easily lie about their film box office
Games publishers can easily lie about their games sales
Music studios can easily lie about their music albums sales

I trust them, I'm not cynical enough to think like that.

If something is really popular and thus gets huge sales or does very well at the box office, I often check it out to form my own opinion.

It depends on the source. Most game sales are less than what they are as most digital retailers don't report their sales.

Box office mojo doesn't lie. The only thing ghat could not be real all the time are scores as studios can definitely buy a critics opinion

No...i stan for talent. some great albums flop on the charts and some good films don't even meet their production budget.
