Sadly no. Homophobia will remain a thing forever.

Not in our lifetimes.

Look at black people, women.
Equality is going to take a long time.

Nope. Same with racism. But we can try to make It better and better.

I would love to think that one day, we could reach that nexus of worldwide acceptance and peace.

But I think the differences of individuals ensure that there will always be contention. There will always be someone who thinks you don't deserve what they have because your skin is brown, your eyes are blue, you're attracted to a different gender, your brain works differently, you don't speak the same language, you were raised to believe in something different.

I hope that one day, we can evolve as a species to a place where these things don't matter - and I think we have the intelligence to do it. But we also have the intelligence NOT to do it - not to think uniformly, not to agree, the sense of recognizing that things could be better for one if they deny someone something else.

Humans are capable of so many great and marvelous things...but the very thing that makes us capable of greatness is the thing that makes us capable of destruction.
