Girl, why would you want useless pre-evos taking up space in the dex?

On a more general wishlisting, I just want over 100 New Pokemon, especially since Kalos failed to make it's tiny dex interesting/good for the most part. Quality over quantity my ass.

I'd also like new evolutions for past Pokemon, but it's v unlikely since Megas exist now (and possibly that Synchro MESS ). I'm not holding out on it for that reason.

Also maybe like 15-20 New Megas, I guess.

I think pre evo's are a waste, imo. Unless, you're like a huge fan of little cup but i feel like reg evo's or even megas should be implemented. Plus, not for mons that they have been around for so many gens, it's like not even worth it. I feel like there are many other things they can and should be doing.

They'll probably connect it some how. Awhile back when people were talking about "Gen 6.5" there was a big theory on how the games are supposed to parallel Gen I and Gen II where both of them connect or continue on a story. That's why some people are speculating on you going back to Kalos.

But really they were planned for Pokemon Z but Gamefreak saw how little profit 3rd games make for the franchise so they decided to scrap it

I still might throw Samurott away for something else though, it's a bit useless.

I honestly doubt Z was ever a thing. 3rd version do make a good profit considering the "minimal effort" you have to put into it. But considering how Sun and Moon have been at least in the planning stages when XY came out (the backpacker clearly pointed towards Alola) makes me think that was their plan all along.

Exactly, plus it doesn't make that many sense for some mons, imo. For example, you had a Lapras ever since Gen 1 and only after 6 Generations passed discovered that she evolved from some other thing?

For evolved forms is a bit different since they can always find out that the Pokemon is hiding some power / couldn't evolve until now because the conditions haven't been met (which was the case with many Gen 4 evolutions) and all that crap.
