Kind of random but I was watching some of her old performances and I realized, Beyonce used to promote her music HEAVILY! Like DIL, B'Day, IASF and 4 recieved massive promotional campaigns including performances, interviews, awards, appearances etc. However after Blue Ivy was born, she released her self titled record which recieved very light promotion. And now we have Lemonade which has recieved literally 0 promotion so far other than a tour. I've noticed that Bey's music is a lot more personal and I think she is now a Mom 1st and a superstar 2nd. While I totally understand this abrupt shift in her career, I'm not gonna lie I really miss seeing her everywhere I go. Do you miss the old Bey (the one who would put herself everywhere) or do you prefer the current Bey (the one who doesn't really do interviews or performances or speeches etc)?

This pains me as i think that the songs from Lemonade could be huge and be her classics ("Formation", "All Night", "Freedom", "Sorry" and "Hold Up") - and we will never know how far ST and Lemonade, despite selling very very well, could have been taken.

As of now we're just waiting for a Vevo upload. absolutely tragic. and it's not about sales, i couldn't care less about those! but the fact that she's hindering people from discovering her amazing music is just bugging me. The eras back then were definitely more interesting whereas the music nowadays is by far better.

Beyonce is a established and massively successful act. She doesn't need to promote like she used when she was building her legacy pre ST era. Only major events really matter for artists like her, Rihanna etc.. (like her superbowl performance) Im willing to be the only televised performances the Lemonade era will get will be at the 2017 Grammys and maybe the VMAs

It all went downhill from BDAY for me. Lemonande is cute but ive stopped listening to it after maybe 2 weeks. Didnt have me hooked like her past eras. I just dont get what she's doing wrong..at least she's doing right to the others in the base.

While I miss getting a glimpse of her personality, I love "new Beyoncé". It's complicated honestly.

tbh during her IASF era she was everywhere... and it slayed. If she actually properly released her material these days she would be smashing far more but i guess she doesn't really care about that stuff at this stage in her career

We know she doesn't. Her sales are amazing and the success is guaranteed. But it would be amazing if she expanded her legacy or at least make her eras a tad more exciting.

Her music gets better with each album and that's what bothers me cause i want everyone to (be able to) listen to her music. i don't think that's wrong.

Most hits nowadays are just plain boring and are forgotten quite quickly, they aren't remembered like the Huge hits from the 00s or before. But i seriously think she could make classics out of her songs if she tried. Songs that the whole world remembers

All I will say is that she stopped promoting as soon as she started to develop motherhood. Blue Ivy gets all the promotion now. Jealous.
