i graduated high school and found a job, so im slowly leading myself to where i want myself to be. i won't feel really accomplished until i start college (hopefully this fall)

!! like i have 2 ideas of where i wanna end up being, but like you said, its so damn difficult getting there. but i think all we gotta do is keep reminding ourselves of the future, of how we want to live and be, and keep on moving towards that tbh. its hard as **** but i know you can do it and i hope i can do it as well tbh.

Honestly, I'm very pressured. My parents, my family, my friends are expecting way too much from me. But I'm taking all these things in a positive way. Even though I hate school (overloaded by projects, plastic classmates), I'm still finding a way in order to finish school and everything.

I don't believe in the concept of a successful life in the way that you are implying. We dream big and strive for bigger things and then we die. All our efforts only for a temporary satisfaction. Therefore me being alive today is my biggest accomplishment because I've survived another day while other people are dying.

i either want to be an english teacher or do something in entertainment/media (simce im so interested in pop culture and all the entertainment industry but also teaching) so its kinda confusing on what to make a decision on lol.

I see! I think realistically you would be better off pursuing education. But from me to you, I'd pursue entertainment/media because I'd always live in regret that I didn't try to get there.

I know you should never compare yourself to others but it's hard. My friends are already done with college and starting great jobs and moving across the country. But I'm just here trying to figure out what to do with my own life.

I've accomplished a lot for someone my age. At only 17 I've been through a lot and worked really hard to secure grades that put me at the top of my classes at the same time. It's not easy to be a straight A student and working 25+ hours a week but I'm proud of myself.

I've sacrificed a lot and had to let some of my relationships suffer but I feel like I'm building a strong foundation for a successful future. So I guess in some ways I've accomplished but socially there's a lot more I'd like to accomplish and explore.
