I respect people's passion, but it really gets to me when people capitalize on a tragedy like death to promote their own political beliefs. Someone just died. This is not about you.
first of all... why is it necesary or a right for a person to have or own a gun tbh.... ?. and the whole "to protect from criminals" as if every day a criminal attempts something against you.... there should be a gun control, and there should be a police reinforcement on the streets to protect people from the criminals....
This is such a touchy subject and it's hard to make a solid statement on it.
At the bottom line, people kill people. They're the ones with the intent and they're the ones who carry through the act. This guy was crazy, clearly mentally disturbed, and found a way to do it. However, guns do make it much easier for people to carry out these awful acts.
I don't think it's accurate to 100% blame it on guns, or to 100% say guns aren't the reason.
In this specific issue, I think so much of the fault lies with the lack of security. The venue simply checked bags....no metal detectors or anything.
