I'm not saying ban the second amendment. But close the loopholes. Allow research on gun violence to occur. Ban semi-automatic weapons. Look into mental health and guns. It's common sense, people. Expanded background checks are nothing extreme, but the NRA and Republicans would make you think otherwise.

The US is weird, there was one school shooting here in the UK and they introduced some of the strictest gun controls in the world and we now have one of the lowest levels of gun crime.

This is not true. Look up Obama's gun executive actions. We would've gotten further, but Republicans in Congress opposes any laws. Elect Democratic down ballots and you'll see change.

She wants to close the gun show loophole, the Charleston loophole, set up a system to monitor online selling, eliminate immunity from gun sellers, expand on Obama's executive orders, pass a gun reform legislation through Congress, and invest more into mental health facilities and rehabilitation programs.
