I need her to urge Republic to release (filmed?) Visual 2 and get Into You sent to radio like now. Into You's low-key stable on iTunes, that's not a bad thing because it needs Airplay and Streams to get to their peaks at the same time with peak Sales. Getting Into You sent to the radio is the only way the GP could notice and buy the song.

Fenty sis, you know I love you and your iconic avis, but you need to let Visual 2 go. It's not going to happen unfortunately. Even the few of us that were begging for it jumped ship after it still wasn't released during the album release week.

At this point, the video won't do anything. The song has peaked in sales and on Spotify, so it can't even give us a new peak. Visual 2 would also slow down the era and take the focus away from Into You even more. What I want is for DW to peak on radio within the next 2 weeks and for Into You to be sent to pop and rhythmic on Tuesday (or next Tuesday, the latest)

I know, at this point Visual 2 is not helpful anymore but I just can't stand how she has ditched her plans just because the song was underperforming JUST A BIT. She is just too chart-biased to do what she promises.

And Into You will flop if it gets sent late like that. Please do it on Monday or at least Friday before it's forgotten.

I still stan for the song, personally, but since it peaked in all other aspects, there's no point in rooting for its radio run anymore. It already achieved some important radio accolades (over 100M AI, top 10 overall, top 5 on pop, soon to be top 10 on rhythmic) and it won't go much further than, so it's time for it to fade. It did an incredible job

EDIT : I guess we can root for a top 5 on overall AI though, but it doesn't matter that much

Because it wouldn't make sense now. Her team and label are probably begging for radio to drop DW so that they can launch Into You. If they were to use payola, they would have done it 5-6 weeks ago.

if anything, its better than some of her peers getting those '1 week' peaks on radio and then suddenly freefalling...

The general "rule" is that you shouldn't send the next single to radio when the current single is more than 2 weeks away from peaking. I doubt DW has more than 2 weeks left in it, since it's already old (for radio's standards), so Into You should be sent on Tuesday or next Tuesday, the latest

I think she better just claim that Into You is a promo single and continue pushing DW with V2. Then when DW is réally done then release Greedy or Side to Side. This situation between DW and IY is a real mess. Unconditiolly / Dark Horse teas.

anyone else think she should of dropped visual 2, and be alight as a promo with a cheap video ala let me love you instead of the album? And then wait a month for a full peak and push out single 2 and a album release date, then a video for into you the week before along with the promo for let me love you? I just think she put the album out before the GP started checking for her again, she slowly has to repair that rep damage
