He won't do it

As a Bernie supporter, I lowkey hope this doesn't happen.

I swear Jill Stein must be a Republican in disguise.

Jill represents a lot of great progressive values but I don't think Bernie will do it actually, even tho over 40% of voters are Independent and a high profile candidate would really shake things up, but at the same time I think voters are so disenchanted that the full 40% wouldn't be galvanized to vote for Bernie on the Green ticket.

He won't do it, he knows the danger of endorsing a third party could do to bring Trump to power.

There's a chance he may do it. It really depends if he feels like he can change the party from the inside with the time he has left on this earth.
But on the other hand, would he feel loyalty to a party that is not loyal to him? This is the last time he'll ever run for president, he might just be like "**** it lets go all the way".

But in the end he already said he's ready to work with Hillary so...

I am so sick of those 2... Just accept that you lost and move on.

Jill Stein is a delusional loon. I can't stand her. I don't think Bernie will even consider it, tbh.

Its important that they both continue running so these ideals continue living on

you may not care for these ideals but a lot of people do

I hope he accepts it. He doesn't owe the Dems **** compared to how they treated him this entire election.

Talk about a downgrade. He knows what's in store for him if the democrats are elected, he'd never. Nice try Jill

Him becoming a Green Party candidate's VP would literally destroy whatever voice he has. The DNC is wanting him to have a strong influence in the party's platform. If he shows some loyalty to the party, then he would actually be able to have some influence on American politics. If he becomes part of the Green Party (an entirely irrelevant party), then the DNC will have no interest in adapting to his platform. This is a terrible idea for him.

I voted for him to get the nomination and his ass lost. He needs to just drop out so his rabid supporters don't throw away valuable Democrat votes and end us up with Trump as president.

If he can't be president or VP of the dem party, then I'd much rather him take on a much stronger role in the senate instead of wasting his time with a pointless third ticket run.

You can't run third party until we change the system. And hopefully if people are really fed up with the two party system, they'll try to fix it after the election.

I think he might do it after DC votes. I think he's staying in because he promised he would stay in until every vote is cast so everyone has the chance to vote for who they support, which is something I think is entirely fair and just. I think he will be working to make his case for his platform to be more adopted by the DNC platform at the convention than actually snatching the Democratic nomination because we all know that ain't happening. Bernie's too intelligent to not be aware that he's lost the nomination at this point.
