The attacker, who police identified as 37-year-old Waheedah Wilson, was arrested on Wednesday night.
Wilson, of Philadelphia, punched the reporter three times in the side of her head and pulled her to the ground before the news crew was able to push her away, police said.
Court records show Wilson has been charged with simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.
