I'm trying to have an actually mature and deep/thoughtful/intriguing conversation with ATRL and someone already reported this is closely related to Psychology (my major) so, again, I was very interested in this.

No hunty. I am making a comparison. Did I say Hilary and the character were the same? NO. i said she lowkey reminded me of her in some way. You people need not to take everything too personal.
What these movies prove, they will add, is that America is still afraid of women like Clinton. Women who are tough, brilliant, and plainly ambitious. Women who don’t conform to society’s sexual expectations. Women who try to run the world rather than seduce it. We are so stressed out about the havoc these women will wreak on the future, the argument will go, that we’ve begun to subconsciously channel our anxieties into science fiction.
In other words, it says more about the people who see Hillary this way than what Hillary actually is herself.
I've thought this before. Probably because of the 4 communication styles, they'd both be directive (high dominance, low sociability), which makes them similar in that way.

Icarus while I get that SweetTalker is obviously wrong in pushing the sociopathic narrative, these comparisons are not wrong at all. Alma Coin is entirely based off of Hillary Clinton. Without Hillary, these characters would likely not exist or be portrayed completely differently.
She shares some attributes, but she cares about the causes and people.
Maybe you should look into her record and skills.
Well yeah I'll give her that. She is definitely not a bad person, and I'm sorry if people thought I was straight up calling her a sociopath (). But other times, she really just looks cold and calculative. Idk.
