I've only caught three shinies and I've played for ages. Lotad, Litwick and Tauros. Litwick is useful af in the early part of X. I don't have anything to counter fighters and the rock moves haven't hit much if at all.

I got a Shiny Magmar back in Leaf Green but then deleted ha bc I used hacked rare candies on her in Platinum and I felt bad for cheating
