Rihanna does dress better, but Beyonce doesn't dress bad. Honestly, i think it's just the attitude. Rihanna is a risky and fun with fashion. Beyonce is safe and well dressed in her instagram photos.
Personally i don't think Beyonce deserved such an award, but she got it. So move on.
I feel like Beyoncé has a look for sure but a fashion icon is Rihanna.
She is daring veralsatile and I've seen so many random people imitate her look.

Didn't Rihanna get the award a couple years back so it's not like she isn't considered one regardless of people questioning if Beyoncé is one.

She didnt lie...she doesn't deserve the award IMO..Rihanna actually deserved it..This year they should have gave it to Gwen Stefani. ..media always likes to kiss Beyonces ass...but congrats...I'm just a critic and don't make a dime from it..so good for her I guess..but I will say this is gonna water down the acclaim of the award

Well yeah, Rih is regarded as more of a fashion icon as she ventures into it more so than Bey.
Bey also doesn't seem to wear average clothes (unlike high street Rih), it's normally high fashion.
Two completely different styles. Why do these black women have to be compared? It is because they are both black, and I wish people would realise this. There is no other explanation for this continous insanity. Thought people were progressive and wanted less of the black hatred?
