One of my producer friends who worked on early ANTI sessions (can't say names, sorry) confirmed to me that they're in talks with Rih's team because there will be a new release later this year including songs that were left out of ANTI (and possibly new tracks that are still being baked), kind of like GGGB Reloaded but this will be a standalone release instead of the same old album and just 3 new tracks.
He said he won't spill too much beans at the moment but he told me that the 2015 singles were meant to be included in Vol.1 and there was even a pre-release cut with such tracks (which explains why the Samsung campaign kept using BBHMM for the ANTI Diary) but Rihanna knew fans had waited too long for new music so it made sense to remove those in place for new music, which probably means Vol. 2 will include those tracks (or maybe even the remixed versions).
Also, Work was Rih's first choice as the "lead" single but the label had made a deal with John Glass to have Kiss It Better out as a single (which is why that video was filmed first) so when he found out Rihanna paid it dust he went a bit cuckoo and initially wanted to leak the song because he thought it wasn't gonna make it on the album and was threatened by Rih's team and had to apologize about his meltdown.
Stay tuned!
