It's mainly to do with weather to be honest.

In the more fertile regions of the world there has always been more prosperity.

I agree.

Systems like Globalisation will keep this statistic growing and global inequality will become more drastic if it isn't altered/fixed.

Charity isn't going to help enough unfortunately.

Interesting theory, but it's been proved false by a lot of scientists and historians. It actually comes down to the Western world countries being historically more brutal.

And also - colonization. They've purposely decided to dictate what we see as currency - creating a system that makes it near impossible for these countries to prosper. Now, creating forceful borders to further oppress the immigrants that are from war torn countries, with, ironically, most of these countries being war-torn & in a mess due to the western worlds actions (see middle-east: currently experiencing the biggest humanitarian crisis in history due to border decisions made after WW1/WW2)
