They are SOOOOOO CUTE when they are pups
and then when they get older they turn into these ferocious vicious reptilian dinosaur looking creatures
Leopard seals are one of the most dangerous creatures in Antarctica. Aside from the orca, they are at the top of the food chain. Back in 2003 a scientist was killed while taking photos of it in the water, The leopard seal mistaken her for a large fish or empress penguin so it bit her on her leg and drowned her 200 feet deep in the water until she drowned
The leopard seal ate parts of her shoulder blades and neck. The scientists was found brutally damaged. There are also incidents of leopard seals stalking humans without making flubbery sounds and have managed to attack humans with no weapons. One leopard seal in 2015 even managed to throw a bag of weapons into the water leaving the scientists trapped with no weapons.
I hate them because they eat cute little penguins
but they are interesting. I'm just blown away how they are cute little pups and then they grow into dinosaur looking seals.
