No one is defending what she did, but the case in the OP is absolutely unrelated to her case with Depp and it's cheap of news outlets to dig this up as if it's saying something about her credibility in new case. It's a good thing the GP doesn't get to decide who "deserves" something like abuse based on someone's past.
