I think you don't understand that artists like Beyonce don't need to cram their schedule with promo performances. I agree, some artists need it, and I love it because I love watching them. But part of Beyonce's team's strategy is to keep some mystery to it so hype builds up and everyone is trying to find out information because it's not just handed to them like many smaller artists do. After Superbowl, she basically didn't do anything until Lemonade dropped. But having an audience of over 110 million during the halftime show was an amazing promo slot that probably had more effect than a bunch of talk shows lined up. Right after that huge event she announced her world tour which sold over 1 million tickets in just the US, and all those people willing to pay the price to go see her were most likely going to either buy or stream her album which she'll perform on tour. Then, in Europe, she's been invading all of our billboards with IVY PARK, she's literally everywhere. I was in Munich the other day and she was all over the city.
Also, Formation did the promo by itself because of all the controversy it created, and it was all over the news around the world. Many celebrities also posted about her on all their social media to praise her performance and message. So really, if you haven't heard about Beyonce since mid-February, you are most likely living under a rock.
I understand that Bey stans are disappointed to not have seen her perform at award shows, but the only ones that were on since she released Formation up until Lemonade dropped are the iHeart Radio Music Awards and RDMAs

And it's also her team's strategy to make her seem "untouchable" and "queen-like", so performing at award shows with other artists that are far from being at her career level would almost degrade that image.
Hope I at least changed half of your mind on Bey's marketing team.
And I'm not a crazy fan (I just like her strategy and some music), I'm just proving that every artist has a different method that either works or doesn't work for them, and for Bey it works.
