What are some scary stories that ever happened to you?
When I was around 11 years old I was spending the night over a friend's house and my friend's parents went out real quick to buy some groceries for about an hour. My friend and I were playing video games in his bedroom when we heard the door downstairs open and footsteps coming in. I thought it was my friend's parents but he told me that the footsteps sounded different. We snuck a peek downstairs and saw a man in a hoodie looking through some cabinet drawers in the living room. We were both scared so we just high tailed it under his bed and I guess the stranger heard the noise and bolted out the door and left it opened. We stayed under that bed for like 30 minutes until his parents finally came home and we told them what had happened. They called the police and filed a report but nothing came out of it.
But apparently on the news they caught the man who was on a burglaring spree in the area and apparently he had a gun on him during his arrest.
saw someone standing on a ledge on top of an apartment building on my campus. I was watching them in hopes that it wasnt what i thought it was and then they lifted one of their legs off the ledge and i turned away and ran into the nearest store (which was a chinese restaurant)
Same. I almost almost fell into a canal when I was 3. Our dogs saw me and went to get my mom and when she came running I was hanging on the edge by my hands

When I was in middle school me and 2 friends tried to summon a ghost in that weird board with a cup. The cup moved and we freaked out and until to this day no one admits that it was her who moved the glass so we have no idea what actually happened
A bunch of things... I'll share the story about the walker. I was 14 years old and I was leaving the library. It was dark outside and I decided to take the long way home. About three blocks away from the library, I turned to look over my shoulder because I could sense someone behind me.
There was a man about a block away walking in the same direction I was. I turned the corner and I was on the street where the juvenile detention center and jail were. I looked back when I was half way down the street and I saw the man behind me. I began to power walk when I was out of sight. I took a shortcut and came walking down a flight of stairs.
As I got to the bottom, I looked to the right and he was walking up the street, still behind me. At this point, I was shook. I kept power walking until I reached another corner. I was on the street my house was on and I rushed toward the door. I kept all of the lights off. The man appeared outside of the door and looked at it for a few seconds. He kept walking.

My older brother was taking me to school so I could hang out with my friends around that area, we were on our merry way when a 30 something year old approaches us, he was breathing heavy like he'd been running and kept stumbling over his words. What he said first, now makes me feel sick. He said "I was actually looking for five or six year olds" oh, by the way, he had a patch of red roses in his hand, he wanted me and my brother to help him make up with a supposed girlfriend by giving her the roses and saying they were from him. I smelled crap the moment he approached us, but my brother, who I looooove with all my heart is gullible and childish as one can be, so he accepted. I was pretty angry, but went along, holding hands with my sibling. All of this was happening pretty close to my grandparents' house so I felt somewhat protected. When we approached a building, he told us it was on the fourth floor. He rang a few times and no answer. He asked us to go upstairs with him. BOY BYE. I told my brother we need to gtfo of there NOW! To this day I don't recall if I actually screamed that out lol. My brother apologized to him (death) and we jogged out together. I told my parents later and they were NOT having it. A few days later my grandmother found out no one lived at his "girlfriend"'s place and there was a report on the news about organ trafficking in Lisbon AKA where I'm from and in the exact parish my grandparents live. I was so shook for the longest time, I wanted to remember the guy's face so bad to report him to the police but it's been a blur ever since I jogged off.
