There's one gay club in my city and it's the best club in the city actually. Amazing music and really nice people. But from your experiences, US gay clubs are something different, I suppose...

Awkward. My friend dragged me there. He went off with someone after like 5 minutes. In hindsight it wasn't really a club as much as a place to find someone to hook up with. Never again.

I haven't been to a bar/drank alcohol in 2.5 years.. But I was always embraced by and made friends with the straight girls and the lesbians. The gays guys were always so stuck up

If you go with friends it's amazing but I don't go there to flirt, you will just end with messed up gays

Amazing experiences!! I've really only ever to LA Gay bars. But legit guys buy me drinks and are super attractive! One guy was a Russian model and the other dude was Austrian. It's always fun. I've been fingered before on the dance floor though. But la Gay bars >>>>..... every one is so hot

Ive been to one gay club before, in Ft Lauderdale. Everyone loves to dance in South Florida.. latin music, hip hop, pop.. its all played in the club. I go there to go OFF and leave these gurls shook with my moves.. i was dancing with some random drag queen one night.. everyone embraces each other

These threads always get such mixed responses. I've never been yet, but I'm thinking of going soon. I'm wondering how those who aren't into the club/bar scene manage to find ways to put themselves out there? Because I know y'all feel equally as lukewarm about apps.

I went for the first time about a month ago. Took me a while to get into my groove, but once I did I was owning the dance floor and broke away from my friends and joined this other group. Eventually one by one they wandered off until it was me and this other hot guy. He started groping me and dancing on me, then took my hand and dragged me into a cage and started dancing all over me. Right when we started making out my friend came cause he was salty and said we had to leave

I was in WeHo about a month ago. All those clubs are a mess.

The gay clubs in D.C. are alright. I usually just go to spend the night dancing with friends... I never go to flirt or hook up

I haven't been in years and I have no plans on going back. You have to be a certain kind of person or be with a friend group. A single friend won't do because you'll either babysit them all night because nobody wants them or you'll be left alone if they do find someone. Or you'll get lucky and find someone as well but the numbers don't usually work that way.

I will say however, as a word of caution, if you don't want a stranger touching you below the belt and inside inside your pants wear something tight. I've had multiple occasions where I realized somebody had their hand on my butt or junk. Like I'm talking skin to skin contact. It's can be unnerving when it's not a guy your age but somebody in their 40's or 50's.

ive only gone 3 times in my life. i went to icandy in Philly once and hated it, but i was only recently out and i'm not that into the whole gay scene. i went to woodys in philly with a few straight guy friends and straight girl friends and their two gay guy friends after my fraternity formal a few weeks ago and had more fun and danced with a few guys, but i still felt pretty insecure. I went to the after hours one voyeur in Philly after a night of drinking/adderall use thsi saturday and got into the music and had fun but no one hit on me which was a bummer, but i was surrounded by my blonde girl friend so maybe they thought we were there together these two guys next to us were like literally ****ing on the dance floor it was kinda gross.

I saw a guy doing lines of coke in the restroom before.
He was kind of hot though

I haven't enjoyed them so far but I think I need try out more. There are plenty of "straight" clubs that are trash, but I wouldn't label them all together.

The gay clubs I've been to have had bad music and featured way too much lurking. I'm in London so there is a lot of options out there
