Cool. I had the idea to do a rate between Kanye West's
The College Dropout, Justin Timberlake's
Justified, and Usher's
8701. The concept was sort of these three artists were some of music's biggest male pop (using the term loosely) icons of the 2000's, with those three albums being the ones to truly help them make the jump into global (using global loosely for Kanye) stardom. Which one of the three is the best?
Note: Not sure you would have asked but, since you might, I chose
8701 over
My Way since a), it was released relatively near both
The College Dropout and
Justified and b) I think
8701 is what truly made Usher a global superstar, even though
My Way had his first few hits.
