Which continents history is worst? Europe or North America
Both have a lot common and both today are seen as world leading continents but when it's all said and done which Contient and its history is the worst when all is consider?

Why are you trying so hard to pit Americans vs. Europeans in here?
Didn't Europeans bring slavery to America with colonization and stuff? Didn't they steal stuff from us? Don't they still have power on some islands that were never theirs to begin with?
American's history isn't that nice either, we all got our dark pasts.

Europe honestly.The dark ages, the holocaust, the crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, among other things.
Mainly because they have the longest history where wholly opposing cultures met, with horrific consequences.

Unless you're a native american or black, "us" doesn't make any sense since you're european too sis.
To answer the thread, EVERY continent has done very nasty things.

The holocaust, Bubonic Plague AKA Black Death, the Middle Ages with people not washing their ass, etc.
On top of that, EUROPEANS went to North America and killed Native Americans, and brought slaves with them.
So EUROPE.

Not a fair comparison, since Europe actually has history. Most of the negative stuff posted about Europe above, happened before America was even discovered, back when chickens and trees lived there.

Europe. You don't even have to go that far back into history to prove this. Just in the last century, Europe has elected countless murderous dictators (Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, etc). Also slavery in America was caused by European colonization soooo yeah, Europe loses this one too.

To be fair, it was Europeans (who weren't Euopean then) that started the tragic history of America...on top of their own **** history

Obviously the one with the longer written history, unless we want to bring up things like human sacrifice in pre-Columbian cultures in the Americas.

And anyway, what does it matter? Both have truly terrible moments of their pasts, just like every other continent. This thread is not proving which continent is better in any way possible.

Genocide is more cruel (The Holocaust, Europeans taking over Australia and killing off the Natives, Europeans massacring Native Americans for land, etc.).

You didn't get my post, clearly. I am not against Europe or US, I am simply stating we all have dark pasts. As a Venezuelan, I can tell you our history has many things to do with the European since Spaniards invaded our country and labelled it as discovering a new world. They made my people slaves, took our gold and so many things; Venezuela even battled Spain for its freedom. We are all connected.
