At the end of the day, artists are remembered for their hits and Beyonce hasn't had a real hit since like 2009 so she's not leaving much to be remembered by anymore

Sorry, Formation, Hold Up, and even 7/11 beg to disagree. Bey can clearly get hits. However she's the product of her own demise, in terms of single success.
Bey keeps selling albums and the songs off her album have sold more than some #1s and top 10s. I highly doubt she really cares about what's at the top of the charts. And talk to me in 10 to 20 years and lets discuss what albums from artists like PitBull and Flo Rida are legendary and still discussed.
Hell, the woman in your avi has about the same amount of #1s than Bey and started receiving those after her prime and commercial peak. Has that taken away from her legacy?
There are some artists that can clearly survive without having to compete/chase for hits. And those are the ones people will be talking about 20 years from now.
