I hate when people act like ALL of tumblr is a cesspool. you can avoid the cesspool of tumblr by unfollowing and blocking people who you don't like. tumblr is what you make of it.

anyway, on topic: tumblr is messier than ATRL. ATRL has its threads about bug chasing once in a while but tumblr had a whole shoplifting community at some point
