I'd rather a film about Gambit be taken seriously than be a half-assed attempt and a box-office failure.

I hope this is true. Gambit is my favorite superhero ever and I'd rather have NO Gambit movie than one starring Channing Tatum. He can't act, can't do the accent, and is way too bulky. It would be an utter disaster.

If they do a Gambit movie they need to do one with a cooler, younger, more talented and less famous main actor, and he needs to be able to do the accent. And they also need Rogue.

Thank God, they can get someone talented.
