Generation Y liberals are the new fascists. They are multi national only fascists. When was the last time you went out of your comfort zone to understand and actually listen to a person who seems really bigoted? You'd be surprised how firm they hold onto their misinformation, just like you hold on to your supposed true principles.
In essence each and every one of you actually want to eradicate anything that is strange or wrong to you. Just like how straight world has been doing to us. Remember, our community only has their rights because we rose to power in recent history. Now that we have gained our own voice we strike back. What goes around comes around.

This is a wonderful speech, but it doesn't answer why it matters that the man is an immigrant IF in fact he is.
I know how firmly people hold to their misinformation and their misguided views because I talk to these people and create dialogue on a daily basis as an active advocate for causes I support and soon as an employee of a Presidential campaign. This is what I do.
That is a gross mischaracterization. I - and others like me - challenge people to support their statements and views, and if they cannot, we call for those views to be reevaluated and changed. we call for society to adjust to reality rather than remaining under the control of false, offensive systems and assumptions.
I am not dismissive, I am forward. I am not intolerant, I am unyielding. It is not arguable that modern conservative principles disproportionately damage certain groups of people and in order to push back against that, liberals FIGHT. You may call it intolerant and you may compare us to fascists but what we are doing is being LOUD about our views, our ideals, our hope for a world that can not only treat human beings all as equals but that can empower everyone, a government that can serve everyone.
I am not willing to bend because to bend in situations like this is to be weak, and to be weak about justice and liberty is to compromise one's values and it is to lose.
I do not support violence but I also do not support racism, xenophobia. I don't accept them as legitimate viewpoints or systems and I won't compromise with someone who displays them. Furthermore while I do not believe in violence I do not believe that Trump supporters have any standing to condemn these acts and speak out if in fact they did not speak out when their candidate advocated this very violence in the other direction.
By comparing this to the erasure that straight people have historically forced upon the LGBT community you fail to see that without strong, harsh, and honest warriors to fight that oppression, the LGBT community would not thrive as it currently does. People like these "liberals" you vilify, liberals who are still very much fighting for the equal and fair treatment of all kinds of minority groups. You fail to see that this isn't about silencing or erasing people's views but about telling them what the problems are with those views and why those views
hurt people. Donald Trump's views hurt people, and we are under no obligation to "tolerate" intolerance itself.
My comfort zone is not the issue at hand. I am willing to have a dialogue with anyone and everyone, but that does not mean nodding my head and smiling and pretending I don't find some things completely unacceptable.
