You know I kinda find this thread strange. Because we're talking about who should headline based on their hits that they've had..

Look at Cher. She didn't have many hits like at all.. She had turn back time that kinda put her name out there to the GP/radio/etc and then believe that blew up as a mega mega mega hit. Correct me if I'm wrong (with no snarky attitude of course) but am I right?

I might as well ask some of you how is Katy supposed to be ''eligible'' of holding a residency when she barely released about 17 singles in the US (from which 13 are hits), while Gaga released about 15 singles (from which 11 are hits.

The ones that I wouldn't count as ''hits'' for Katy would be: TOY, Uncle, Birthday and TIHWD
The ones that I wouldn't count as ''hits'' for Gaga would be: Judas, MTN, DWUW and GUY

You don't really need a lot of hits to thrive, you just need to be iconic and/or referred to as a good performer. Besides, it's mostly stans going anyway and if they're paying coins to see their fave, chances are they know the rest of their catalog too

n that's a lot of hits and they both could do it. Toni Braxton's residency was very successful and she only has 7 top tens

Vegas headliners don't need to have a plethora of hits. They just need a few memorable ones to pull in an audience. gaga has the fame singles then born this way from her 2nd album then....? Like applause will not put asses on those seats.

Anyone who was ever a major pop star at one time or another has enough hits for Las Vegas. Even minor hits (top 10, top 20, whatever) like DIL by Bey or BBHMM by Rih count since most people I know listen to the artist they are going to see live in advance of the concert.
