Ugh so do I. Though if they ever make a jump they'd need a complete reboot just so that the story would make sense. I doubt Fox will ever give up the rights or that both companies would figure out a deal to share them ala Spiderman. Not without at least the next few releases completely flopping or getting a major critical hammering.

The individual X-men get so little scene time as single characters as it is. They would be background characters if they ever went back to Marvel at this point.

Meh.... I doubt Fox would do it and the old cast might not even come back for another X Men film, it would have to be the younger cast.... but I would so be here for Jean Grey coming in and ****ing everything up.

Nah, Marvel has already proven it can juggle team dynamics a hell of a lot better than Fox has with Civil War and the first Avengers films so that'd work out fine. That or do what really needs to be done with the X-Men and that's have it be a big budget TV show. The X-films have in large simply had bad direction and dull writers because Fox has never bothered to really do what it needs to do and hand over the reigns to someone other than Singer (whose only interested in telling the same story about the 2 white dudes' homoerotic bromance). Lets not forget that the most interesting X-Films since the reboot was directed by Matthew Vaughn and Tim Miller. Both who made an active effort to do something different for a 2016 audience. Singer has been making the same film since X1 and its lost its luster.

The MCU doesn't need the X-Men tbh. That said, if it ever happens, I wouldn't be opposed to it, as long as they reboot the entire thing with new actors.

Well, they wouldn't actually work together since the X-Men series is taking place 4 decades ago and the MCU is happening nowdays.

I'm sure almost every marvel fan would love to see x-men with the avengers, so they are not alone.. but yeah, MCU does not really need x-men right now, even though they would make the movies 100% more interesting for me hopefully Russos will work something out and we'll get to see Wolverine with the avengers, for starters.
