I think I'm blinded by nostalgia because I went on Diamond and Platinum recently to transfer my Pokemon from 2007-2009 to Bank and I tried hatching some eggs but the damn bike is so slow and when you accidentally get into a battle it takes forever even to just run. I kinda forgot
DP might be the slowest Pokemon games. The engine was...messy. Platinum fixed it mostly tho
Surfing in gen 4 was the pits tho (especially in DP)
Yeah surfing was the worst part, but every aspect of the game ran so unbelievably slowly looking back.
I trained my Empoleon to level 100 in Victory Road as a kid and that must have taken like days upon days to achieve... and then lost it when I forgot to transfer it to Black when I restarted SoulSilver

Haven't skipped a game since then. Cofagrigus is my avatar since I saw someone dissing it and that's just silly. It's an icon, a highlight, a gen V legend.
Some opinions:
Suicune is the god of pokémon. Flawless design.
Gen V > Gen VI by a landslide (I've genuinely enjoyed every generation tho)

And I left in the middle of beating Team Galactic towards the end of the game. I just beat Saturn's ass and set Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf free and now I have to go to the Distortion World I believe.
