Btw, I was just talking to a friend of mine who was never really fond of Bey's music. We were talking about 2016 and music and current songs and charts. She said she found Drake's View interesting and a bunch of other albums. The little Hive inside of me didn't want to burst out Bey's name so I tried my best to keep my chill. Usually I burst out Bey's name, but with this friend, I didn't want to come across as the stan I am.
So she proceeded and said that the best album of this year by a large margin was Lemonade and that she would even claim it's the best album released this decade.
Lemonade is truly the album that converts people to Beyism and I LIVE for it!

please post your thoughts here when you listen you have great taste btw
knew Signs before, it's cute. I just find the chorus to be a bit lazy.
Be With You omg WHY DIDN'T I LISTEN TO THIS BEFORE
Speechless kinda dragged on. The guitar saved it for me
Listened to Gift From Virgo and The Closer I Get To You, but got a little tired from all those ballads/the mellow RnB vibe

Converting more than 50% of the population of Earth >>>>> converting the weirdos full of bs who think one genre is superior to the others
DIL, BDAY, IASF, 4 and ST did most of the job, Lemonade is just bringing some new casual fans here and there

I actually feel like ST did not really convert people, it just made people aware of her power.
With Lemonade, she covers an incredible range of very different and especially unexpected styles. Furthermore, the entire concept, coherence, and the lyrics are superb and the GP is acknowledging that (even if they didn't like Bey prior to that).
ST was pretty urban and hence no sth everybody could enjoy, Lemonade is way more ambitious imho.
BTW, I need Bey to record an arabic-sounding album or at least an arabic song. Phew, the slayage would be real!

Idk it was the exact opposite here. Everyone went nuts for Partition, same with Drunk In Love, the live performance is always imitated in talent shows in my country And literally imitate, it's like they're doing an impersonation.
Here's a video:
I haven't heard anybody talk about Lemonade yet irl, except for Formation when it was released back in February. I tried to show the movie to some friends but they didn't make it till the end.
Although exploring with more styles and genres, Lemonade feels more watered down than ST to me, WAY more. ST is definitely more ambitious, provocative and full of Bey's iconic persona.

The album is too good.
Even the haters here admit that Lemonade is a good/great album.
Hey y'all! I'm valedictorian of my class and I need some help from my fellow BeyHive!
My valedictorian speech is to talk about feminism and inspire my class to go for their dreams and aspirations regardless of what others say. I've used references / lyrics from Formation; I Was Here; Me, Myself and I; Listen; Haunted; Schoolin' Life; and Run The World (Girls) as well as Beyoncé quotes like the "The reality is sometimes you lose".
I need any assistance of any quotes of hers I can use to put in my speech. Graduation is tomorrow, so I'mma need help ASAP.
